Final Thoughts

Well, I did my first 3d in the lecture last year , wich was just 3d modeling. That was a great experience and I gained a lot of interest in 3d at that time. This year I was doing both 3d modeling and animation along with character animation, and in both these modules I am learning something that i did not know before.
Needless to say, the character animation is a bit bigger and takes more work than this one, so as time passed I found my focus was mainly on that module and this module kind of just took the backseat. But I still managed to find time and finish the work that needed to be done and I have learned alot along the way.
So the most difficult part would have to be managing my time and making sure I put enought focus on all of my idents, but when it came to modeling and animation I think I have a pretty good understanding on how everything works

Final Renders

I havent found the time to write too much for this blog since most of my time and energy has been going to my character animation wich I am also doing for this semester...
But here are my final three renders for my idents with some explanations...

For this video I used the Rayfire plugin to create the explosion of the mirrors...
Just a simple scene of the logo, a plane with a reflective material underneath and than three mirrors surrounding the logo...
Creating the logo was actually a lot more difficult than I imagined. For the two circles I just drew two tubes, but the text I deformed along a path... The difficult part was getting the SHOW part to form correctly and that is why it may look a little deformed...

This was a fun video to make.
This is my first time working with Reactor and it turned out pretty good I think.
In the beginning I was having difficulties getting the weight to bounce and roll the way I wanted to, but after playing with the gravity attributes I managed to get decent results.
Also the original idea was to have the fitshow logo appear on the top side of the weight itself, but after trying different material methods none of them seemed to work so I went with the fade in the end wich I think actually turns out okay.

This is the last of the three...
I figured I just keep this one simle, I used the same scene as in the first video. Just removed the mirrors and added three cameras...

ENJOY!!!!
